The Clover Club cocktail traces its roots to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, named after a Philadelphia gentlemen’s club of the same name. It was a favorite among lawyers, writers, and captains of industry who gathered at the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel. While it faded from popularity during the mid-20th century, the Clover Club has experienced a big revival in the modern craft cocktail scene. Its blend of gin, raspberry, lemon, and egg white encapsulates the sophistication and flair of America’s Golden Age of cocktails.
A fresh raspberry or a twist of lemon on the rim. The garnish adds visual appeal and a hint of aroma, perfectly complementing the drink’s flavors.
