The Bramble was created in 1984 by legendary London bartender Dick Bradsell at Fred's Club in Soho. Bradsell was inspired by his childhood memories of picking blackberries on the Isle of Wight, and he set out to craft a drink that balanced the boldness of gin with the tangy sweetness of fresh berries. The result was an instant hit and has since become a beloved staple in cocktail bars around the world. The Bramble stands out as a rare modern invention that earned its place alongside the greats of classic mixology.
A fresh blackberry and a lemon wheel are classic garnishes. The blackberry reinforces the flavor profile and adds a pop of color, while the lemon brightens both the look and aroma.
