The White Negroni was born in 2001 when British bartender Wayne Collins traveled to France for the Vinexpo wine fair. Unable to find Campari or sweet vermouth, he improvised using local French ingredients: Suze (a gentian liqueur) and Lillet Blanc (a French aromatized wine). The result was a fresh, bittersweet twist on the classic Negroni, quickly gaining fame among cocktail enthusiasts seeking something novel yet familiar.
A wide lemon twist, expressed over the drink to release aromatic citrus oils, brightening the drink's flavors and enhancing its visual appeal.
