The Old Fashioned is one of the oldest cocktails in existence, dating back to the early 1800s. Originally known simply as a ‘whiskey cocktail’, it was named the ‘Old Fashioned’ as bartenders began to experiment with more complex drinks and patrons requested the classic style. Its birthplace is often credited to Louisville, Kentucky, but its popularity swept across America during the cocktail renaissance. This drink has stood the test of time, representing both tradition and the enduring appeal of bourbon or rye whiskey.
A freshly expressed orange peel. This adds a bright citrus aroma, elevating the whiskey's complexity and inviting you into each sip.
